INNOVATE OR STAGNATE | HOW TO ENGINEER YOUR FUTURE TECH WORKFORCE

10AM, OCTOBER 18, 2023

We’re thrilled to announce that our panel has been selected for the Tech & Innovation track at the inaugural SXSW Sydney conference! We’ll be live at 10am, October 18 in the ICC Building.

Hosted by our Head of _nology Australia Roisin O’Neill, she’ll be leading a panel of expert industry leaders as they share ideas about the future of tech teams and all the niggling complexities that continue to weigh upon Tech Leaders and Hiring Teams.

Carina (Marasco) Parisella – Head of Group Technology Workforce | ANZ

David Ranasinghe – Chief Digital Officer | Revenue NSW – NSW Department of Customer Service

Molly Rowe – VP of People | Recordpoint

What ACTUALLY makes a great tech employee? What makes a great tech team? A productive, cost-efficient, innovative and equitable one. How might AI, ML, NLP turn your expectation of “good” on its head? And what part does diversity play – does it actually matter? Is it a realistic goal, or worth the effort?

The Tech Council of Australia have defined we need 1.2Million Tech Workers by 2030. We’re all thinking it – how can tech leaders realistically make that happen?

This panel will unpack these questions to give you an insight into what the speakers, as tech leaders, are doing NOW to protect themselves from f#cking their future divisions – as they debate what works and what doesn’t when building the tech workforce of the future.
